An evening in the original sources: James Wilson (1742–1798), signer of the Declaration and the Constitution, William Blackstone's Commentaries on the Laws of England, and the common law tradition the founding generation inherited. In Wilson's own words from his Lectures on Law: "With consistency, beautiful and undeviating, human life, from its commencement to its close, is protected by the common law."

Celebrate the signing of the United States Constitution: 239 years since September 17, 1787

History Moments with Ted

Journey back to Philadelphia in 1787 as historian Ted Lamb brings the Constitutional Convention to life through engaging stories, primary sources, and the remarkable individuals who shaped our nation's founding document. The evening features colonial dress, an interactive program, a Constitution quiz, birthday cake for the Constitution, and fellowship and refreshments.

Admission: $15 general admission · includes a Constitution booklet, refreshments, cake, and door prize entry
